Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast transfer northwards to Murchison Falls National Park en route tracking rhinos in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. After lunch in Masindi Town, drive up to the top of Murchison falls - a magnificent spot where the Nile water compresses into a narrow gorge of over 1 km wide down through a 7 meter canyon forming a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray - the wonders of the Nile River! Day 2: Game Drive and the Nile boat cruise
After an early breakfast, tour the Northern part with a high concentration of savannah wildlife. Enjoy game viewing and photography of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, Uganda kobs and lions, if you are lucky the leopards, plus a variety of bird species. After lunch, go for a two-hour cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls from where appalling water escapes through the narrow gorge forming a great thunderous uproar. Along the falls water birds and mammals are in great numbers. Return to the lodge for your dinner and an overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge (luxury)/ Pakuba Safari lodge(deluxe)/ Red Chilli (budget).
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Murchison Falls National Park heading Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley while enjoying the sights of traditional homesteads and farms in this verdant country side. You take packed lunch or simply have an early lunch Hoima. The Murchison- Kibale drive is approximately 7 to 9 hours depending on the weather conditions. Stay an overnight at Crater Safari Lodge (luxury) / Primates lodge (deluxe)/ Chimpanzee Guest house (deluxe / budget).
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon Bigodi community tour
Wake up for an early morning breakfast to get ready for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park. You need to get to the park headquarters by 8.00 am local time for briefing on the day's activity by the senior park ranger guide. At 8.30 am you will be transferred to starting point from where the search for chimpanzees begins. There are 95% chances of seeing the chimpanzees in this forest. By midday you are expected to be back for lunch and later go for a community walk to Bigodi community. Explore the community developments like schools, craft shops and other conservation projects that have been developed to help the community as you interact with the local people. Dinner and overnight at Chimp guesthouse (budget)/ primates lodge (mid range)/ Crater safari lodge (luxury).
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and community walk
After breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park; one of the most diversified national parks on the continent. Take a tour to the Katwe-Kabatooro community, explore how the locals engage in salt mining to boost their incomes at L. Katwe. You may also pass by L. Munyanyange a popular breeding site for the lesser flamingos. Proceed to your lodge for lunch and later take an evening game drive. Dinner & overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Katara Safari Lodge/ Kyambura Gorge Lodge(luxury)/ Enganzi lodge / Park View Lodge(deluxe)/ Irungu safari lodge(budget).
Day 6: Game drive and Kazinga channel boat cruise
After an early morning breakfast, undertake a morning game drive to the Kasenyi area expecting to view early morning predators such as leopards, and lions, different antelope species, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, warthogs, waterbucks, etc. For birders, Queen Elizabeth National Park is a birders' paradise with over 606 species including a variety of migratory and Albertine Rift Endemics. In the afternoon, at 14:00 hrs you will walk down to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel between lakes Edward and George. This is the best place to see a cross section of all the wildlife in this park. Day 7: Ishasha Sector tree-climbing lions and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After an early breakfast transfer to Bwindi impenetrable Forest NP through the Ishasha - the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive to view the tree-climbing lions which are only here in the whole country. Savannah Hotel is ideal for lunch after a game drive in Ishasha. Arrive in Bwindi in the evening. Overnight stay at Chameleon hill lodge / Gorilla safari Lodge / Mt Gahinga Lodge (luxury)/ Lake Mule Safari Lodge (deluxe/ budget).
Day 8: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi and evening community walk
After an early morning breakfast walk to the park headquarters for briefing and later follow the gorilla trail. It normally takes between 2 to 8 hours or even a day to encounter the gorillas. You will be allowed to stay in the presence of these awesome apes for atleast an hour. It is advisable that you carry packed lunch as one cannot determine how long it may take to encounter the mountain gorillas. If time and energy allow, you may take a community tour in the neighboring community after tracking to interact with the locals and learn about their lifestyle. Day 9: Batwa Trail in Mgahinga
You will have an early breakfast and then head to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for the Batwa Trail cultural encounter. You will discover the magic of the Batwa’s ancient home while enjoying nature walks and learning about the cultural heritage. They will demonstrate hunting techniques, gather honey and point out medicinal plants. Part of the tour fees goes directly to the guides and musicians and the rest goes to the Batwa community fund to cover school fees and books, and improve their livelihoods. Day 10: Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga
In the morning, you will report to the park headquarters with your tracking gear for briefing about golden monkey tracking and then proceed to track these rare monkeys amidst sighting of other wildlife species. You will later return and rest at Chameleon hill lodge / Gorilla safari Lodge / Mt Gahinga Lodge (luxury)/ Lake Mule Safari Lodge (deluxe/ budget).
Day 11: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and Boat Trip
You will have breakfast and transfer to lake Bunyonyi arriving early enough for a lunch break and later go for a boat along the lake with great views of the islands. You will later return to your lodge for a rest. Meals and overnight at Birdnest resort (Luxury)/ Bunyonyi Eco resort (Midrange)/ Bunyonyi Rock Resort (Budget).
Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and afternoon game drive
You will have and breakfast and then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park located in Kiruhura district. The NP is a home to a number of wildlife species with the highest Zebra population. While here watch out for the zebras, buffaloes, girraffes, warthogs as well as a number of birds. Meals and overnight at Mihingo lodge (luxury)/ MRwakobo rock (deluxe)/ Pogo Lodge (budget).
Day 13: 3 hours of Horseback riding and boat cruise
On this morning, you will have breakfast and head for horseback riding where you will view the wildlife species while riding on the back of the horse. This will enable you get close to the wild and learn more about the wildlife species in the area. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise along lake Mburo where you will view a number of birds, hippos among others. Meals and overnight at Mihingo lodge (luxury)/ Mburo safari lodge (deluxe)/ Eagles Nest lodge (budget).
Day 14: Transfer back to Kampala
In the morning after your breakfast, you will set off your journey back to Kampala with stopovers for photography arriving early enough for a drop off at your Hotel. La petite (Luxury)/ Cassia Lodge (Midrange).
Day 15: City Tour and Departure
After a relaxed breakfast, you will go of a city tour visiting visit the Bahai' Temple, Namugongo Martyrs shrine, old Kampala mosque, the Uganda Museum, you can also visit the craft Villages to get some souvenirs and later have lunch from the city before to transfer to the airport for departure depending on schedule.
