Embark on an unforgettable 3 Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This short Uganda gorilla tour offers guided gorilla tracking, scenic drives from Kampala or Kigali, cultural community experiences, and comfortable lodge accommodation in Bwindi Forest.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP

• Pick up from Kampala or Kigali by our professional guide.
• Scenic drive through southwestern Uganda with opportunities for photography and short stopovers.
• Arrival at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP in the afternoon.
• Check-in at your lodge:
  • Budget: Trekkers Tavern, Buhoma Rest Camp, Buhoma Community Camp, Gorilla Mist Lodge
  • Midrange: Bakiga Lodge, Agandi Lodge, Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge

• Dinner and overnight stay at your selected lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking and Community Walk

• Early breakfast at the lodge.
• Assemble at the park headquarters for briefing from park rangers on gorilla trekking guidelines.
• Start your guided gorilla trek (2–6 hours depending on gorilla movements).
• Spend up to 1 hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat and taking photographs.
• Return to the lodge for lunch and rest.
• Optional community walk in the evening to explore local life, culture, and conservation initiatives.
• Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Transfer Back to Kampala or Kigali

• Breakfast at the lodge.
• Begin the scenic drive back to Kampala or Kigali.
• Stop at Igongo Cultural Centre for traditional lunch and photography.
• Visit the Uganda Equator Crossing at Kayabwe for water experiments and memorable photos.
