Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
You will welcomed by our Africa adventure guide from Kigali international airport for a transfer to Kibale national park situated in western Uganda. The drive to Kibale takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. This is a scenic drive through the Kigezi highlands commonly known as the Switzerland of Africa. You will therefore arrive at Kibale Forest National park regarded as the Primates' capital of the world in the evening for dinner and overnight at chimpanzee guesthouse (budget)/primates lodge (mid range)/ crater safari lodge (luxury)
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Queen Elizabeth National Park
At 7.00 am local time assemble at Kanyanchu park headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing from the senior park ranger guide and at 8.00 am your guide will transfer you to the starting point for chimpanzee tracking. Normally the whole activity takes less than 4 hours. In the afternoon you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP arriving early enough for a boat cruise along the chasing channel where you will view a variety of wildlife species. Dinner and overnight at Irungu safari lodge (budget)/ enganzi lodge (mid range)/ mweya safari lodge (luxury)
Day 3: Game drives and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Rise up at dawn for breakfast and head to the kasenyi area for a game drive. Expect to see a number of wildlife species including lions, antelopes and ,any others. You will head to your lodge for a lunch break and later transfer to bwindi impen. national park via the ishasha sector arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight at Traveler's Rest Kisoro (Budget)/Bakiga lodge/ (mid range)/ Four Gorillas lodge (luxury)
Day 4: Gorilla Tracking and community visit
This day is the climax of your safari. You will take an early breakfast and converge at the park headquarters with your packed lunch and snacks for briefing by the senior park guide and allocation of the gorilla groups to track. You will then head into the forest to track these endangered apes. You will be allowed one hour in the presence of the gorillas once you find them and later you will head back to the headquarters. Dinner and overnight at Traveler's Rest Kisoro (Budget)/Bakiga lodge/ (mid range)/ Four Gorillas lodge (luxury)
Day 5:Transfer back to Entebbe/ to Kigali for a city tour and later head to the airport for departure.
After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Entebbe/ to Kigali arriving early for a brief Kigali city tour visiting the major attractions around and later head to the airport to catch up with your departure flight if on schedule.
