7 Days Uganda Tour – Wildlife, Chimpanzees & Gorilla Trekking Safari

This 7-day Uganda safari offers an unforgettable journey through Uganda’s top national parks including Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Highlights include rhino tracking, chimpanzee trekking, game drives,boat cruises, and mountain gorilla tracking.
Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, depart northwards to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. After lunch at the sanctuary, continue to the park and hike to the Top of the Falls, where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge, creating a thunderous roar and spectacular views.

Day 2: Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the northern sector of the park, home to elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, leopards (if lucky), and diverse birdlife.
After lunch, take a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where hippos, crocodiles, and water birds gather in large numbers.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, transfer southwest through the scenic Albertine Rift Valley, enjoying views of traditional homesteads and lush countryside.
The journey to Kibale Forest takes approximately 6–7 hours.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing before chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest boasts a 95% success rate of sightings.
Return for lunch and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive.

Day 5: Ishasha Tree-Climbing Lions & Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, drive through the Ishasha sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive and lunch en route.
Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening. If staying in Buhoma sector, a Batwa cultural experience may be arranged.

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking & Community Visit – Bwindi
Wake up early for the highlight of the safari — mountain gorilla trekking. After briefing, enter the forest with experienced guides to track these endangered giants.
You will spend one magical hour with the gorillas before returning to the lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Kampala or Kigali – End of Safari
