Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport
Welcome to Rwanda! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and greeted by our representative who will transfer you to accommodation that has been booked for refreshments, depending on the time you arrive, you will enjoy a city tour to the local markets and the Kigali city tour. Returning for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
We will have an early morning, after which transfer to the park headquarters for the gorilla trekking experience, you will begin with a briefing from the park rangers and in groups of eight you will explore the forest in search of the eastern gorilla-gorilla beringei, these love to feed on the park plants, fruits and tree backs, gorillas are known to organize and prepare their food before they east it, there are cases where they have been seen strip backs of trees off just to have the middle stock, baby gorillas are under the care of their mother until the age of two, trekking them takes 2 or more hours after which you return to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 3: Iby’wacu Community Visit
Today you will wake up for breakfast then checkout and drive to the northern side of Rwanda to Iby'iwachu community the gorilla guidance community. This afternoon you will visit the Ibwiwachu community where you will be introduced to the traditional Rwanda through traditional; dances, poems, dressing codes among others. Later you will have a hot lunch and then transfer to your accommodation facility for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking - Akagera National Park
Wake up very early for breakfast and drive to the park head offices in Kinigi at 7:00am and then have briefings about the dos and don’ts while tracking. Join up with other golden monkey trekkers; meet the ranger guide for a few minutes talk about the activity and the park. By 8:00, get into the cars and transfer to the golden monkey trail just outside the park. After the long trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will to Akagera national park Rwanda’s only savannah conservation area in the country, arriving for a dinner and stay overnight at

Day 5: Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema.
Following an early morning breakfast, you will head to the park to enjoy the beautiful gym of wildlife, on our open roof safari cars we will look out for lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, and many bird species, we return to the lodge for a hot lunch and an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema one of the few lakes in the national park, common sightings of hippos and the crocodiles. Day 6: Transfer to Lake Kivu
We will wake up to a beautiful morning breakfast after which we will transfer to Lake Kivu,you will be amazed by the road trip , the continuing beautiful rolling hills, tea plantations en-route will stop by for a picture moment and enjoy the backdrop of the mountains,arriving at the lodge in the afternoon for checkin and a relaxation along the pool side of the lodge, dinner and stay overnight at
Lake Kivu Serena lodge.

Day 7: Boat cruise on Lake Kivu
After morning breakfast, take a relaxed drive to Lake Kivu. The sandy beaches and waterfront make this one a popular destination with travellers looking to relax. Lake Kivu itself is one of the great lakes in the Albertine rift valley and is 500m deep, making it one of the deepest and most. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge have lunch and enjoy the rest of the evening atb leisure

Day 8: Departure to Kigali
We will enjoy a relaxed breakfast, overlooking the forest and later transfer to the Kigali international airport for our transfer back home.
