8 Days Murchison,  Bwindi and Kibaale Safari

Proposed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kampala

Upon arrival at the airport, our company representative will pick you up and transfer you to Kampala for refreshments and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park (Rhino Tracking)

After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls and visit the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge creating a thunderous roar.

Day 3: Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the northern sector of the park, spotting elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, leopards (if lucky), and various bird species. After lunch, take a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of the falls followed by a guided hike.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, passing through the Albertine Rift Valley with scenic countryside views. Lunch en route in Hoima or packed lunch. The journey takes approximately 6–7 hours.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Community Walk

After an early breakfast, proceed for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest.
There is a 95% chance of seeing chimpanzees. Return for lunch
and later visit Bigodi Community to explore local projects,
schools, and crafts.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Drive to Bwindi via the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route and arrive in Bwindi in the afternoon.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, attend a briefing and begin your mountain gorilla trekking. Trekking may take 2–4 hours or
longer. You will spend up to one hour with the gorillas. Later, enjoy a community visit and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 8: Transfer to Kigali or Kampala & City Tour

After breakfast, transfer to Kigali for a city tour including the Genocide Memorial, then proceed to the airport for departure.Alternatively, return to Kampala with stops at Igongo Cultural Centre and the Uganda Equator before transferring to Entebbe International Airport.
