This 4-day Gorillas and Queen Elizabeth Safari combines an unforgettable
gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
with classic wildlife encounters in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Very early in the morning, our professional safari guide will pick you up
from your hotel and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park,
home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Enjoy scenic countryside views
along the way.

Arrive in Bwindi in time for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Community Visit

Wake up early (6:00 AM) and report to the park headquarters with a packed
lunch for a briefing by senior park rangers. After briefing, set off into
the forest to track the gentle giants through dense vegetation and steep terrain.

Once found, you will spend one magical hour with the mountain gorillas,
observing their behavior and taking photos. This is a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter.

In the afternoon, enjoy a community visit, where you will learn about
local traditions and lifestyles.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.


Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Along the way,spot antelopes such as Uganda kobs, gazelles, and bushbucks.

Arrive at the Mweya area for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, linking Lake George and Lake Edward. This cruise offers excellent sightings of hippos, crocodiles,elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking or Game Drive & Transfer

After breakfast, choose between:

  • Chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu Forest, or
  • Morning game drive along the Kasenyi Plains in search of lions,
    leopards, topis, warthogs, and other wildlife.

After the activity, begin your return journey to Kampala / Entebbe (Uganda) or Kigali (Rwanda)
depending on your travel schedule, arriving late in the evening.
