Detailed 5-Day Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

You will be welcomed by a My Trip 2 Africa Tours professional guide from Kigali International Airport and transferred to Kibale Forest National Park in western Uganda.The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours through scenic landscapes of rolling hills,tea plantations, and rural countryside.

Kibale Forest is known as the Primate Capital of the World, home to over 13 primate species.
Arrival will be in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast, report to Kanyanchu Park Headquarters at 7:00 AM for briefing by a senior ranger. Chimpanzee tracking begins at 8:00 AM and normally lasts 2–4 hours.

In the afternoon, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park depending on arrival time, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel or an evening game drive.

Day 3: Game Drive & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Rise early for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains,famous for lions, Uganda kob, elephants, buffaloes, and other savannah wildlife. After the game drive, continue south through the Ishasha sector, well known for its rare tree-climbing lions, then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking & Community Visit

This is the highlight of the safari. After an early breakfast,report to the park headquarters for a briefing and gorilla family allocation.You will trek through dense rainforest in search of the mountain gorillas.

Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a community visit to learn about local culture and traditions.

Overnight: Same lodge as previous night


Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe or Kigali & Departure

After breakfast, transfer back to Entebbe International Airport or cross back to Kigali City for a short city tour before your departure flight, depending on your travel schedule.
