6 Days Kibale, Bwindi & Lake Mburo Safari

This 6-day Uganda safari offers a perfect blend of primate encounters, wildlife safaris, and cultural experiences. The journey takes you to Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee tracking, Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for mountain gorilla trekking, and Lake Mburo National Park for walking safaris and savannah wildlife.
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel or airport in Entebbe or Kigali by our professional safari guide and begin a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park in western Uganda.
Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight at your selected lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee tracking experience. Along the way, you may encounter other primates such as red colobus monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabeys.
After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for
an evening game drive.

Day 3: Game Drive & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Enjoy an early morning drive as you head south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions.
Continue to Bwindi, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking & Evening Community Visit
This is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters with a packed lunch for briefing before embarking on the unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking adventure.
In the evening, enjoy a guided community visit to learn about the culture and daily life of the local people living around Bwindi.
Overnight: Same lodge as Day 3
Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, depart Bwindi and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.Arrive early enough for a game drive to explore the park’s savannah landscapes and wildlife including zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and elands.
Overnight: Eagles Nest Lodge (Budget) / Mpogo Lodge, Rwakobo Rock Lodge (Mid-range) / Mihingo Lodge, Kigambira Safari Lodge (Luxury)
Day 6: Nature Walk & Transfer to Entebbe or Kigali – End of Safari
After breakfast, enjoy a guided nature walk to the salt lick for more wildlife viewing opportunities. Later, transfer back to Entebbe, Kampala, or Kigali for your departure or hotel drop-off.
