Walk amongst one of the largest chimpanzee communities in the world and experience pure wonderment as you take in the sights, sounds, and silly antics of our closest cousins.
Characterised by expansive, mountainous jungle terrain, Kibale National Park hosts nine species of primates, including several families of chimpanzees. Chimp trekking is the main attraction at this park, though visitors who go beyond the search for our closest cousins enjoy spotting the otherprimates that make their home in the park, in addition to ample birdwatching opportunities.
Additionally, local communities welcome visitors to take part in their traditions, shop for handicrafts, and learn more about life in the Ugandan forest.
